(NYSE: MAR) today announced that the first full-service hotel in Redmond, Washington, the Redmond Marriott Town Center, is scheduled to open in June 2004. The 262-room property is located at 7401 164th Avenue and is owned by Western International and managed by Marriott International. The hotel plans to employ over 125 associates. The Redmond Marriott Town Center is part of Marriott's strategy to increase its presence in emerging markets across the U.S.
