Marriott International to Release Third Quarter 2008 Earnings October 2, 2008

BETHESDA, Md. - Aug 29, 2008 - Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) will conduct its 2008 third quarter earnings review for the investment community and news media on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). The results will be issued prior to the opening of the New York Stock Exchange on that day.

Marriott's 2008 third quarter covers the 12-week time period from June 14, 2008 through September 5, 2008. Mr. Arne Sorenson, Marriott International's executive vice president, chief financial officer, and president - continental European lodging, will discuss the company's 2008 third quarter results as well as its business outlook.
