Marriott International Increases Dividend

WASHINGTON, May 4 - Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) announced today that its board of directors has increased the company's quarterly cash dividend to six-and-one half cents per share of common stock, an increase of a half cent, and the sixth consecutive yearly increase. The dividend is payable July 13, 2001 to shareholders of record as of June 29, 2001.
