Fortune Names Marriott as ôMost Admired Companyö in the Lodging Industry

FORTUNE NAMES MARRIOTT AS “MOST ADMIRED COMPANY” IN THE LODGING INDUSTRY

WASHINGTON – Feb. 17, 2000 – Marriott International, Inc. (MAR / NYSE) has been named 1999’s “Most Admired Company” in the lodging industry by Fortune magazine.

Last year, Fortune also recognized Marriott International as one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For,” and named the company as one of the "50 Best Companies for Asians, Blacks and Hispanics.”
